Entering its eighth year, the Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme (AAiSS) amassed an alumni of more than 6,500 ambassadors from primary, secondary and special schools who have used their artistic talents and potentials to the full while inviting others to partake in the fun of creating the arts in living out the cooperative spirit of Live in Art, Thrive in Sharing.

Arts Ambassadors will participate a variety of arts activities, including:

Creative Arts Day Camps (core activity)

l   The Day Camps allow the Arts Ambassadors to gain exposure in arts and to explore their potentials through one-day workshops in a variety of artforms including visual arts, drama, dance, music and photography.

Recognition Ceremony (core activity)

l   Arts Ambassadors will receive recognition for their efforts at the Recognition Ceremony which will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium. Arts Ambassadors and artists will take to the stage and perform, and will also make a pledge showing their commitment to the arts led by the officiating guests.

* To motivate Arts Ambassadors to accomplish their missions, starting from this year, they are required to draft a proposal of promoting arts in schools. The nominating teachers have to confirm the fulfillment of pledges before the end of the academic year. Each ambassador will receive a certificate of recognition and HK$500 scholarship after completion of his/her plan and the 2 compulsory activities.
