// About the art group //
Pants Theatre Production
Pants Theatre Production receives one-year grant from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. It has established since December 1995. We restructured the company in 2012 and started to receive one-year grant from Arts Development Council. With years of development, we have gained a foothold in Hong Kong Theatre.
We believe that theatre can be the witness of the history of our time. The focus of our creative approach is on reinvesting drama and history. We aim to push the boundary of aesthetics and forms. Our works are historical, radical yet accessible to wider audience. We also act as the catalyst to produce works that reflect and respond to the Hong Kong society. We vision a more open and innovative theatre scene in Hong Kong. The documentary theatre Rebuilding Choi Yuen Chuen and 1967 have received great acclaim.
