“Meet-the-Artists” allows arts ambassadors to talk to different local artists face to face to appreciate their artwork and learn their interesting stories behind.

Some people said Sham Shui Po is Uncle Hung’s hometown, he didn’t deny. According to what he told and wrote, many of them were related to this place. He lived there for the first 10 years of his life, all feelings and emotions were buried in his mind. When he is getting older, all memories are recalled again and again. Uncle Hung will share his stories in Sham Shui Po and you will know more about what he has experienced. Act now to enroll!

Yuen Che Hung
 
Yuen Che Hung, he is called uncle hung jai (雄仔叔叔) in the tough-rough world. He had been a secondary school teacher, pre-school education worker, education officer of a theatre company. He founded the Nohurry Story Workshop (慢慢走故事坊)in 1994 and has since become a craftsman of imagined reality. He is now also a member of the storytelling group called “Tales we Tell” which was established in 2012, and has since been running monthly storytelling gathering for the public to take part in telling their stories. He writes and tells stories to adults and children. He writes and reads poems to children and adults. He runs workshops to convince people we are all stories and poems. He runs workshops to unearth this human quality together with the participants. He has published some books of stories, poems and scripts for his own performances.
