Activity Details
The "Theatre Magic" which will be held at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts is divided into 4 sessions:
(1) Theatre and stage production workshop
Ambassadors will be divided into small groups to participate in theatre games and stage production workshops, so as to get a taste of the basics of the profession.

(2) Demonstration of stage effects
The role of theatre technical arts and its artistic interpretation of the theme will be demonstrated in this session. Lighting, sound, projection, stage technology and other effects that might stimulate audience’s senses will be used to enhance the atmosphere on stage. The production team will explain the creative concept of the project. Audience will be given a guided tour to reveal the magic of behind-the-scenes.

The arts ambassadors will be divided into groups to tour the backstage studio of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, which includes the dressing room, Sound Console for Musical, lighting studio and a small exhibition of backdrops and props.

(4) Meet the Artist
Artists will be invited to conduct sharing of their arts experience with the arts ambassadors.
